Policies & Terms
This page explains ULP’s general policies and what to expect when working with us. Project-specific agreements, invoices, and signed contracts govern the exact terms of each engagement — where a project agreement states something different from this page, the agreement controls.
Unjeria Lee Productions accepts qualified paid projects throughout the United States, including on-location production work that may require travel.
Booking & Payment
A project is booked once the project agreement is signed and the required payment stated in that agreement has been received. Verbal discussions, quotes, and proposals are not binding on their own.
- Payment schedules vary by project and are set out in the agreement.
- If the required payment isn't received by the stated deadline, the booking is not confirmed and ULP may release the date.
- Deposits are generally nonrefundable, unless the specific agreement says otherwise.
- Approved, nonrefundable third-party costs (for example venue holds or licensing) are the client's responsibility where they apply.
- Travel and production expenses are handled through the project quote and agreement.
- Rush projects may require a rush fee, faster payment, and confirmed availability.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations and reschedules are handled based on how much notice is given before the project.
- 48 or more hours before the project: the deposit is refunded, minus any approved nonrefundable costs already incurred.
- Less than 48 hours before the project: the deposit is forfeited; any additional balance already paid is refunded.
- Same-day cancellation: no refund.
- Once work has begun: no refund.
- Cancellations and rebookings require ULP's approval.
One reschedule is included with at least 48 hours notice.
- If ULP needs to reschedule, we offer a replacement date first. If no date works for both sides, the refund and cost terms in the agreement apply.
- Weather, travel disruptions, venue issues, emergencies, and other outside events are handled through rescheduling and the agreement's terms.
Consultations
- A paid consultation is $75 for 30 minutes.
- One free reschedule is available with at least 48 hours notice.
- A missed (no-show) consultation is not refunded.
Client Responsibilities
A smooth project depends on both sides doing their part.
- Approval and feedback deadlines are stated in the project agreement.
- Delays on the client's side may move the project timeline.
- ULP may pause work when required materials, access, approvals, or information haven't been provided.
- Additional charges may apply when a client-caused delay creates extra work or cost.
- Clients are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for any materials — including footage, music, or images — they provide or direct ULP to use.
- Model or talent releases and location or property permissions are assigned according to the specific project agreement.
Production & Safety
- ULP may stop or pause work when conditions reasonably appear unsafe.
- If client-caused damage occurs to ULP equipment or property, reasonable repair or replacement costs may apply, as described in the agreement.
- ULP may refuse or pause work that is illegal, unsafe, or materially outside the agreed scope; new scope of that kind may require a revised quote or agreement.
- ULP may engage subcontracted crew for a project. ULP remains responsible for coordinating and delivering the agreed work.
- Where a project involves minors, ULP follows reasonable practices around guardian consent and on-set supervision.
Deliverables & Revisions
- Each project agreement specifies the deliverables, quantity or format, turnaround time, and included revisions for that project.
- Revisions beyond the included amount may be billed separately.
- Corrections to agreed deliverables are treated differently from requests that add new scope.
- Rush delivery is available only when ULP confirms capacity, and may require an additional fee.
Files & Storage
- Raw and source files may be available for an additional fee.
- Standard file retention is one year after delivery, unless the project agreement specifies otherwise.
- Final delivered files and raw or working files are treated separately where applicable.
Creative Rights & Portfolio Use
- Clients receive the rights specifically stated in their project agreement.
- ULP's pre-existing creative tools and materials (for example editing techniques, presets, and templates) remain ULP's property unless the agreement expressly says otherwise.
- ULP may use completed work for portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes, unless the project agreement says otherwise.
- Confidentiality requirements are project-specific and are addressed in the agreement where they apply.
Privacy & Data
- ULP collects information reasonably necessary to plan, perform, and administer a project — for example contact details and project information.
- ULP uses reasonable safeguards to protect client information.
- ULP does not sell client personal information.
- Information is retained and deleted according to ULP's stated practices and applicable legal requirements.
Accessibility
ULP makes reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility needs and requests communicated in advance.
Professional Conduct
ULP and any crew working on a project conduct themselves professionally on every job. Clients and their guests are asked to do the same.
Legal Terms
Liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law are addressed in each signed project agreement, which is the controlling document for those terms. This page does not state or limit ULP's legal position on these matters, and nothing on this page constitutes legal advice.
Policies and terms may be updated from time to time. Project-specific agreements and applicable law govern each engagement. Nothing on this page constitutes legal advice.
